Mother’s Day 10th MayBack to blog
So what does Mother’s Day look like in 2020?
With all the COVID restrictions we’ve all been a bit off center and working out new routines. For Mums with schoolies there’s been little downtime or escape – it’s been kids 24/7, no breaks and no escape.
For some it’s been the opposite, with physical distancing from our Mum’s due to health issues. Whilst phone calls are okay, visits without hugs or no visits at all are disappointing and challenging.
So while Mother’s Day breakfast and that special outing may be off the cards for many and it’s a little harder to show your appreciation, there’s always a way and it doesn’t need to be difficult.
Make this Mother’s Day one to remember, plan something special.
Make breakfast if you can or bake something and deliver, remember a flower. Place a card in her letterbox. Send or deliver flowers to the door.
Play. Spend some time doing something different. Buy an event ticket or plan a holiday for post Covid, take a walk, grab a takeaway coffee and talk.
Try something different. Give an unusual treat, an online course voucher, or perhaps a little hamper of goodies with wine, chocolates and cheese. Remember the crackers.
